In case you ever wondered what exactly the youth do during our Sunday morning Bible Study…let me give you a quick sketch.
Sunday mornings, we begin our Bible Study time with middle schoolers and high schoolers together in the Youth Room. Our hope is to build a loving community among all our students and adult leaders.
In some ways, what we do mirrors our worship service. We share announcements and have a time of greeting one another. The greeting time has become more and more important, as we really want everyone to feel welcomed and included.
Then our (growing!) youth band leads us in a couple of worship songs. It’s an awesome thing to have our very own youth lead us in praising and worshiping God! Such a blessing!
Once we sing, i lead us in prayer and then the middle school students and adult leaders are dismissed to the Choir Room where they go through their lesson. The high schoolers remain in the Youth Room for their lesson.
