We love our middle schoolers!
This past Sunday night we took some time to celebrate our middle schoolers. Our high school students took it upon themselves to serve our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders dinner and led them in all kinds of fun games.
I was so encouraged to see so many middle schoolers come out. I think they really loved being served by their elders – especially when siblings were involved 🙂 We’re so glad you all came out!
So proud of our high schoolers! You all did a fantastic job of serving, leading, and making everyone feel welcomed and loved.
Also, a big shout out to all of our adult volunteers who came out and loved on our youth! Special thanks to Pastor Steve for joining us, to John Mitchell who shared this brilliant idea with us, to Ann Marie Lew who did all the cooking, to Les McAdoo for providing musical entertainment, and to Brian Hillmar for taking photos of the event.
