Upcoming Events

June 20 – Together 2020

July 4-10 – Jamaica Mission Trip

Ongoing Activities

Sunday Morning

Bible Study @ 9:15 AM in the Youth Room (The Letter of James)

The purpose here is to dive deep into the Bible so that our youth will grow in their faith, be equipped with a biblical worldview, and be encouraged to live in a manner worthy of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Worship Service @ 10:30

We love to see our youth worshiping together with their families and with the entire church family!

Sunday Evening

242 @ 5 PM in the Fellowship Hall (Dating and Relationships)

242 is our small group ministry.  Based on Acts 2:42, our goal is to establish strong relationships among the youth and with youth leaders as we devote ourselves to the study of Scripture, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayers.

For our Youth.  For the Gospel.  For God’s Glory.

This is the mission of the South Columbia Youth Ministry.  It is based on the vision of South Columbia Baptist Church to be a worshiping, nurturing, and outreaching church.

For Our Youth.

This is the nurturing component of our mission.  To be for our youth is to love our youth!

And to love our youth is to introduce them to Jesus Christ so that they might know Him as Savior and as Lord and to help them to mature in Christ.

Another way we love our youth is to come along side their parents to help and encourage them as they parent their teenagers.

For the Gospel.

This is the outreach component of our mission.  To be for the gospel is to advance the message and love of Christ in our communities.

For God’s Glory.

This is the worshiping component of our mission.  To be for God’s glory is to know who God is; to love Him; and to think, speak, and act in ways that make much of Him.
